The Department of Veterans Affairs has started seeking a contractor that can migrate VA mobile applications and their associated services into an operational cloud system.
A FedBizzOps notice posted Wednesday says the contractor will be required to transfer 20 to 30 mobile responsive web applications to the VA Mobile Application Cloud Migration system, which will be hosted on the VA Enterprise Cloud.
The potential contractor will provide various support services such as platform development, application migration, mobile environment support and operations, and maintenance for the cloud platform.
The contractor will also be required to use the VAEC-Amazon Web Service environment for the VA MACM.
The department’s Office of Information and Technology aims to host technologies in VAEC to eventually operate a continuous integration/continuous deployment platform.
VA will accept responses to the request for proposals until Aug. 17.
