Concurrent Technologies Corp. will sponsor the three-day 28th Annual Showcase for Commerce that will kick off on May 30 in Johnstown, Pa.
Sens. Bob Casey (D-Pa.), Pat Toomey (R-Pa.), and Rep. Keith Rothfus (R-Pa.) are among the congressional leaders who are expected to attend the event that seeks to help industry representatives connect with defense contractors and government acquisition leaders, CTC said Monday.
“Senator Casey and Congressman Rothfus have secured high-level speakers representing some of the most renowned defense experts who will add great value for our Showcase attendees,â€Â said Ed Sheehan, CTC president and CEO.
Other lawmakers who will attend the event include Rep. GT Thompson (R-Pa.) and Sens. Kay Granger (R-Texas) and Jack Reed (D-R.I.)
Military leaders who will speak at the trade show include Brig. Gen. Alfred Abramson, program executive officer for ammunition; Rear Adm. Ronald Boxall, director of the surface warfare division; and Rear Adm. John Neagley, PEO for Littoral Combat Ships.
The event is a collaboration between the Cambria Regional Chamber and economic development organization JARI and is expected to attract approximately 2,000 attendees.
