Nathan Hopper, formerly a geospatial scientist for the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, has been named as program manager for Woolpert‘s national security sector.
Hopper also served with the Naval Oceanographic Office as a physical scientist, Woolpert said Wednesday.
Joseph Seppi, vice president and director of the national security market at Woolpert, said the company offers oceanographic and hydrographic services and that Hopper’s experience will help the company support customers’ expanding needs.
While with the NRL and NAVO, Hopper conducted studies on the impact of missions on the environment.
He holds a doctorate degree in geography from the University of Southern Mississippi.
