AT&T will continue to support the the Defense Information Systems Agency‘s ultra-high-frequency/line-of-sight communications network under a $13.7 million contract modification.
DISA exercised option year 2 under the company’s sole-source contract that covers the provision of Northstar long-haul telecommunications services and related transmission circuits for the UHF/LOS communications system, the Defense Department said Monday.
Work under the modification will begin May 1 and continue through April 30 of next year.
The agency will use fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds on this award.
AT&T initially secured a potential $74.6 million contract in April 2016 with a cumulative face value of $44 million.
