Leidos has landed the 22nd spot on Military Times’ Best for Vets Employers 2017 list for the fourth consecutive year in recognition of the company’s efforts to hire and retain former military personnel.
Ann Addison, chief human resources officer of Leidos, said in a statement published Tuesday veterans make up 20 percent of the company’s workforce and that the award reflects its commitment to support retired service members.
Military Times ranks companies based on a survey analysis of areas such as recruitment, training, career transition support and company culture.
Leidos supports returning veterans through its Operation MVP outreach program.
The company also provides support through community organizations that include Paralyzed Veterans of America, the Tragedy Assistance Programs for Survivors and the United Service Organizations.
