Forcepoint is set to conduct the Cybersecurity Leadership Forum on April 11 at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, Virginia, to facilitate discussions on cyber threats and strategies with security professionals and leaders from industry, federal and state government agencies, defense and intelligence communities.
Michael Hayden, a retired U.S. Air Force general; Theresa Payton, former chief information officer at the White House; and Peter Singer, a strategist at the New America Foundation; will join Forcepoint CEO Matthew Moynahan to deliver keynote speeches at the forum, the Forcepoint said Wednesday.
“Through this event, we hope to provide a forum to engage in dialogue that provides insight that helps cybersecurity professionals to better address risk within their organizations,†Moynahan said.
Hayden, former director of the CIA and the National Security Agency, will discuss the threat of cyber attacks, while Payton will speak about cybersecurity amid the adoption of cloud, internet of things and other technology platforms.
Singer, also a contributing editor for Popular Science magazine, will talk about trends in cybersecurity, geopolitics and the future of technology.
The forum will also feature breakout sessions that will discuss security for mission critical networks, insider threats and challenges faced by agencies with cloud migration.
Austin, Texas-based Forcepoint is a cybersecurity joint venture between Raytheon and investment firm Vista Equity Partners.
