Al Tarasiuk, chief security officer at Deutsche Bank and a more than 26-year federal service veteran, has joined the board of directors of Nashville, Tennessee-based cognitive computing software developer Digital Reasoning.
Digital Reasoning said Thursday that Tarasiuk previously served as the intelligence community chief information officer at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and CIO of the CIA.
He joined Deutsche Bank in 2015 and served as head of information technology security and chief information security officer before he was appointed to his current role at the financial services company.
“[Tarasiuk] led the efforts to organize the U.S. Intelligence Community to adopt and embrace cloud technology — improving security by partnering with industry and making concrete strides toward sharing data to support the most urgent missions,” said Tim Estes, Digital Reasoning CEO and founder.
Estes added Tarasiuk will support the company’s efforts to apply artificial intelligence to sensitive data in partnership with financial services, healthcare and government leaders.
