Jeff Lawrence, a licensed unmanned aerial vehicle pilot and former project manager at Collier Engineering, has joined GEO Jobe to oversee business development of UAV services at the Tennessee-based geographic information system services provider.
He holds 30 years of experience in government and commercial project management, planning, geospatial services, data planning and GIS development and administration, GEO Jobe said Jan. 23.
Neill Jobe, CEO of GEO Jobe’s GIS business, said Lawrence will help increase the company’s efforts to build and deliver new UAV mapping offerings to existing and potential clients.
Lawrence previously served as an assistant to the executive director of planning at Nashville’s planning department before he joined Collier Engineering.
GEO Jobe now offers orthophoto planimetric mapping platforms, three-dimensional models and UAV data hosting and image services through its GeoPowered Cloud.
