LGS Innovations CEO Kevin Kelly has been named chair of the Technology and Innovation Council at the Intelligence and National Security Alliance.
Herndon, Virginia-based LGS Innovations said Thursday Kelly succeeds Bob Farrell and will support technology exchange between the government, security community, industry practitioners and academia in his new role.
Kelly will also organize the annual INSA Innovators’ Showcase event where private sector researchers, public-private enterprises and the academia demonstrate technologies that could aid U.S. intelligence and national security missions.
The council helps select the top 24 presentations and connects them to scientists, technologists, engineers and management teams from Office of the Director of National Intelligence and other intelligence agencies .
Kelly has been with LGS Innovations for 15 years and previously served as chief operating officer and senior vice president of strategy at the communications technology and support services provider.
He also held senior roles at General Dynamics‘ advanced information systems business and Lockheed Martin.
