The White House has reappointed John Keker, founder of law firm Keker, Van Nest & Peters, and added Mark Pincus, co-founder and chairman of social gaming company Zynga, to the Presidio Trust board of directors.
Keker takes the seat that Alex Mehran of Sunset Development Company has vacated while Pincus fills in for Keker, Presidio Trust said Tuesday.
Presidio Trust is the federal agency in charge of the Presidio national park in San Francisco.
“We are delighted to welcome Mark Pincus, a pillar of San Francisco’s technology community, to the board,” said Paula Collins, Presidio Trust board chairperson.
“We are also extraordinarily pleased that John Keker, who has provided invaluable leadership as board vice chair, will continue to serve in our next era.”
Keker has served as president of the San Francisco Police Commission, chairman of the San Francisco Bay Water Quality Control Board and vice president of the San Francisco Fire Commission.
Pincus was an early investor in Napster, Twitter and Facebook and has sponsored philanthropic programs through Zynga.org.
