Tiffany Nesbit, formerly director of engineering at Honeywell’s aerospace business, has joined Elbit Systems’ U.S. subsidiary as vice president of engineering.
Elbit Systems of America also named Douglas Sandklev, formerly technical director of training and simulation solutions at Lockheed Martin, as VP of technology and innovation, the company said Sunday.
Raanan Horowitz, president and CEO of Elbit Systems of America, said Sandklev and Nesbit will work to help the company advance research and development efforts into novel technology platforms in support of U.S. warfighters’ missions.
Nesbit is a 25-year aerospace industry veteran who has held various leadership roles at Honeywell, such as chief of engineering in China, engineering lead for flight controls joint venture formation team and director of aerospace software center of excellence.
Sandklev, who brings over two decades of technology experience to her position, previously served in senior executive roles at Lockheed that include senior program manager for ground forces electronic warfare and chief engineer of surveillance systems.
