Mike Greenley, formerly vice president and general manager of CAE‘s Canadian operations, has been named president of L-3 Communications‘ WESCAM subsidiary.
He will be based at the WESCAM headquarters in Ontario, Canada, and report directly to Jeff Miller, president of L-3’s integrated sensor systems sector, L-3 said Tuesday.
Greenley was responsible for the general management and operation of CAE Canada over the past three years as well as previously held the roles of president at CAE’s professional services unit and vice president of the aerospace and defense technology contractor’s modeling and simulation business.
He also previously served as VP of strategy and development at General Dynamics‘ Canadian business unit and VP-international for GD’s C4 systems segment, where he managed a portfolio of airborne and underwater intelligence, surveillance and Reconnaissance, land communications and rugged computing platforms.
The 20-year A&D industry veteran has been the chair of board of the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries over the past four years.
