Jeff Geppert, formerly an internal research coordinator for health and consumer solutions at Battelle, has been named one of 11 senior research leaders at the nonprofit science and research organization.
Geppert will oversee the company’s efforts to maintain the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services‘ inventory of hospital and physician quality measures that work to help hospitals limit medical errors and related incidents, Battelle said Monday.
“The impact of [Geppert’s] work on society is meaningful and measurable and is being applied to our nation’s most important healthcare challenges,” said Sudip Parikh, Battelle’s vice president and general manager of health and consumer solutions.
Geppert previously held other roles within Battelle’s health and consumer solutions business unit such as technical lead and as marketing coordinator.
He has earned degrees from Harvard University Law School, Harvard Graduate School of Education and Lawrence University.
