Lou Addeo, former executive vice president of corporate development and strategic acquisitions at ManTech International, has been appointed to the advisory board at logistics services contractor Sterling Global Operations.
Addeo will directly collaborate with Alan Weakley, president and chief operating officer of SGO, and will serve as an adviser on the company’s growth initiatives, SGO said Thursday.
“Lou gives us a valuable perspective through his experience and leadership in support of sensitive and critical U.S. government operations in addition to his record of successfully leading the growth of private sector companies,” Weakley said.
Addeo worked at ManTech for six years and retired from the company in 2014.
He previously served as chief operating officer at Serco’s North American subsidiary and held senior leadership posts during his three-decade career at AT&T.
He currently sits on the advisory board of SOS International and is a former board member of the United Service Organizations, Northern Virginia Technology Council and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.
