Clifton Poole is chief information technology security architect for intelligence information and services at Raytheon.
In this capacity, he oversees all IT security governance operations for program networks and related IT system infrastructure.
Poole has been with Raytheon for eight years and has held various IT leadership positions within the firm’s intelligence and information systems such as cloud IT security lead, chief information security officer, and merger, acquisition and divestiture lead.
The nearly two-decade IT veteran served as senior principal information assurance engineer at consulting firm Welkin Associates before he joined Raytheon in 2007.
He spent four years at the National Defense University’s iCollege as information management professor and two years at the U.S. Army’s special warfare training center as a director.
Poole is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control specialist.
The Columbus State University alumnus holds a master’s degree in computer science from Northwestern University and masters of military arts and sciences degree from the Command and General Staff College.
