Craig Abod, president of Carahsoft Technology and an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2015, has received recognition as the 2015 EY Entrepreneur of the Year in the Greater Washington region under the “Government Services Large” category.
Carahsoft said Friday the award is for entrepreneurs who have worked to bolster financial performance, innovation and personal commitment to the business and community.
Abod, who founded the company in 2004, was presented the regional award at a ceremony Thursday.
Carahsoft noted that Ernst & Young will announce the winner of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year National Overall Award on November 14 as part of the EY Strategic Growth Forum.
Carahsoft has approximately $2.4 billion in sales and provides services to the federal government via its GSA Schedule contract.
