Donald D. Graul, formerly executive vice president of design-build construction at Parsons Construction Group, has been promoted to president of the firm’s division.
Parsons said Monday Graul will succeed Garry Higdem and oversee the company’s construction business in North America.
“His strong industrywide relationships… expertise in strategy development and team building, will continue to be key factors in Parsons’ successful execution of programs using alternative project delivery methods such as design-build and public-private partnerships,†Parsons Chairman and CEO Chuck Harrington said.
Graul has more than three decades of organizational management and business development experience and previously served as the company’s senior executive of alternative project delivery.
The certified engineer graduated from the University of Nebraska with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
He is also a member of various organizations, including the American Road and Transportation Builders Association and the Design-Build Institute of America.
