Gerald Boyd, vice president of southeast operations for Huntington Ingalls Industries‘ Stoller Newport News Nuclear subsidiary, will elevate to the role of VP for business development at SN3.
He will be managing acquisitions and partnerships as well as the company’s work with the departments of Energy and Defense and other federal and commercial customers, HII said Monday.
“Gerald brings a wealth of knowledge regarding the DOE’s science, environmental management, nuclear fuel supply and national security programs,” said Nick Lombardo, president of SN3.
Boyd, who is currently based in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, has been with the company since 2011.
SN3 was previously called The S.M. Stoller Corp. before HII acquired it in January 2014 and merged it with Newport News Nuclear early this year.
SN3 is a unit of HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding division.
