Tripp_Kurt_smallKurt Tripp serves as vice president and manager of Parsons‘ defense and security sector within the government services segment and holds responsibility over the sector’s growth strategies.

Tripp previously served as program executive for the air and missile defense programs within Parsons‘ defense and security sector and, prior to that, as program executive for Parsons’ security and mission-support training business.

He joined Parsons in 2011 upon that company’s acquisition of SPARTA Inc.

Prior to SPARTA, Tripp served as a defense group deputy at Computer Sciences Corp., where he was responsible for business planning, congressional liaison, corporate acquisitions, cyber warfare services and delivery assurance functions.

He also served as VP for CSC’s national and defense programs business unit and as a two-time session cochair for the International Ballistic Missile Conference.

Tripp was a member of Virginia National Defense Industrial Authority Board and Grant Committee and is currently an active member of the National Defense Industrial Association and The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

He holds a master’s degree in computer science from Old Dominion University and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Shenandoah College.
