Greg McIntosh, an information technology veteran and co-founder of financial software firm Cyence International, has joined Iron Mountain as senior vice president and general manager for the company’s Canadian business.
He succeeds Pierre Matteau, who will retire from the company after a 17-year career, and will lead an organization that provides data management and document shredding services, Iron Mountain announced Tuesday.
John Tomovcsik, Iron Mountain EVP and GM for records and information management, said McIntosh brings executive leadership, innovation and business development experience to his new position.
“With his diverse experience, Greg will play an important role in helping develop the types of tools and services our customers need, allowing us to deepen our existing customer relationships and add new ones,” Tomovcsik added.
McIntosh began his career at KPMG as a senior accountant and held leadership roles at financial technology provider D+H and financial services company CIT/Newcourt Capital.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Waterloo in Canada.
