A-T Solutions Inc. was awarded a $6.5 million five-year firm-fixed contract to assess and recommend the best security practices to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Under the security auditing program, the company will provide the Port Authority’s security managers with a “repeatable, scalable and proven methodology” for conducting security audits, A-T Solutions announced Tuesday.
The security audits will focus on aviation and commercial critical infrastructure and key resources such as One World Trade Center as well as Newark Liberty International, JFK International, LaGuardia, Teterboro and Stewart International airports.
A-T Solutions will use its automated audit and data collection software, Signature Scene, to help the Port Authority reduce the administrative time needed for audits and data entry.
The company and the authority will work together to figure out the probable times, locations, scenarios and circumstances wherein a security violation might occur.
