Alex Fox serves as vice president of defense and intelligence at DigitalGlobe, where the 25-year GovCon sector veteran helps lead business development and sales in the U.S. government market.
Prior to joining DigitalGlobe in 2011, he worked to hone his skills in operations, engineering and development functions in leadership roles at TASC, Northrop Grumman, GeoEye, Orbital and Fairchild Space and Defense.
He has also led smart weapons development and mission planning automation and digitalization initiatives at Georgia Tech Research Institute, projects he later implemented with Fairchild.
Prior to GTRI, he served as an engineering solutions consultant to the Joint Forces Air Commander on warfighter communication and mission planning
Fox graduated from Georgia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in information and computer science and also holds a master’s degree computer science from Johns Hopkins University.
