Boeing will continue to provide aircraft original equipment manufacturing services for Saudi Arabia under a $49.5 million contract modification from the U.S. Air Force.
The Defense Department said Friday the modification adds one year to the performance period of an existing contract that supports the F-15SA OEM requirements of the Royal Saudi Air Force.
The modification involves foreign military sales.
Work under the modification will take place at Khamis, Saudi Arabia and will run through Aug. 6, 2019.
FMS funds from Saudi Arabia will fully cover the obligation and the amount of the modification.
The 338th Specialized Contracting Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio performed the contracting activity for the modification that brings the previous contract’s total value to $305 million.
