A team of Jacobs Engineering Group and Beca has received a contract to provide support services to the Australian defense department’s capability, acquisition and sustainment group.
The alliance is one of four contractor teams selected for the Major Service Provider initiative that will offer “above the line” contracting support to CASG, Beca said Feb. 16.
Darren Kraabel, senior vice president of Jacobs’ aerospace and technology business, said the contract gives the company an opportunity to expand its partnership with Australia-based small businesses to serve the country’s defense department.
The MSP program covers “Strategic Partner” services that include workforce and supply chain development and management; “Capability Partner” services for CASG centers of expertise; and “Integrated Work Partner” services for CASG domains and CoEs.
