Red Hat has unveiled a technology platform designed to help enterprise customers build applications to automate business decision management processes.
Red Hat Decision Manager 7Â is built to support traditional or cloud-based information technology applications as well as simplify the development and implementation of rules-based platforms, the company said Wednesday.
The platform works to help users create decision and planning microservices for data center deployment or as a containerized service on Red Hat’s OpenShift Container Platform.
Red Hat designed OpenShift for customers to manage process-driven applications with DevOps tools such as continuous integration and delivery and automated test.
The company’s new decision management system includes support for Decision Model and Notation models, an updated data modeler and redesigned decision tables.
