The Government Accountability Office has asked information on potential vendors that can offer information technology, software development and related support to GAO’s information systems and technology services office as part of the IT Transformation, Modernization and Operational Support Services program.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Monday says GAO intends to solicit industry feedback as part of its plan to establish an acquisition platform that would help ISTS achieve its IT modernization objectives.
GAO aims to build up IT agility and data security as well as accelerate IT services delivery to clients through several IT infrastructure modernization efforts.
Those include the migration of data center infrastructure to cloud environments through the use of software-as-a-service platforms, development of a DevOps operational model and transition to a contractor-owned/contractor-operated contract framework to support physical facilities.
Interested vendors should state their capability to provide ISTS services such as program management; customer service; infrastructure, security and operations that include cybersecurity and network engineering; technology research and prototype development; software, enterprise architecture and content.
Responses to the RFI are due Feb. 2, according to the notice.
