WidePoint and Silent Circle have entered into an agreement to jointly offer security products to federal government agencies.
The companies have formed a strategic partnership to deliver systems leveraging Silent Circle’s mobile communications security technology through WidePoint’s blanket purchase agreement with the Department of Homeland Security for cellular wireless management services, WidePoint said Thursday.
Jin Kang, CEO of WidePoint, said the company’s updated Trusted Mobility Management systems look to tackle the convergence of mobile communications and security.
WidePoint has provided government agencies and commercial enterprises with telecommunications lifecycle management and identity management products compliant with government regulations for over two decades.
Silent Circle’s products are designed to integrate mobility, encryption, security and privacy for companies and government agencies.
