Attain has secured a contract to help the Agriculture Department‘s Farm Service Agency develop enterprise system applications for the agency to manage agricultural programs in the country.
The company said Wednesday it will implement an SAP platform in efforts to help optimize FSA business operations and apply agile methodology to develop applications under the Modernize and Innovate the Delivery of Agriculture Systems contract.
Attain President and Chief Operating Officer Manish Agarwal said the company also seeks to provide digital transformation expertise that includes application lifecycle management to the agency.
More than 2,100 FSA field offices use MIDAS to access farm and constituent data and manage customer experience for agricultural product producers, farmers and ranchers.
MIDAS works to help the agency manage federal assistance programs that support nearly five million farms nationwide.
