Centripetal Networks has demonstrated its artificial intelligence-based cyber analysis platform at the 2017 Cyber Security R&D Showcase hosted by the Department of Homeland Security in Washington, D.C.
The company said Monday it participated in the event at the request of DHS to give the cyber industry a preview of the AI-Analyst system.
The platform is designed to help cybersecurity professionals perform automated threat identification, address cyber talent shortage and reduce threat remediation time.
“The goal of our AI-Analyst integration program is to deliver at least a 100X improvement in cyber analysts’ productivity with at least a 10X reduction in cost,” said Sean Moore, Centripetal chief technology officer and AI-Analyst principal investigator.
Centripetal is under contract with DHS to offer and deploy AI-Analyst for government and commercial customers.
The company will also integrate the AI-powered platform with its CleanINTERNET intelligence-based cyber service as part of the contract.
