A CACI International subsidiary has received a potential five-year, $29.8 million contract to provide life cycle support for Red Falcon signals intelligence systems currently installed on U.S. Navy ships and shore facilities.
BIT Systems will engineer, update and maintain software, repair and provide technical services for the military branch’s foreign instrumentation SIGINT sensors as part of the Ship’s Signal Exploitation Equipment Increment F and Cryptologic Carry On Program, the Defense Department said Friday.
Work is scheduled to occur through August 2022 and includes the provision of quick reaction responses to system modifications and upgrades intended to help increase the Navy’s capacity to defend against various threats.
The service branch will obligate $1.1 million on the initial delivery order under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
Dulles, Virginia-based BITS maintains a portfolio of SIGINT processors, software-defined radios, antenna systems, radio frequency feeds and other RF components.
