BAE Systems has landed a one-year, $45.2 million contract modification to continue integration work on a ground-based strategic deterrent system for the U.S. Air Force.
The Defense Department said Thursday work covers acquisition program documentation, business and financial management, data rights and management, logistics, quality assurance, risk management, strategic planning, schedule management and trade and technical studies.
The modification exercises an option under a previously awarded contract for integration support to the GBSD program.
BAE’s will perform work at Hill Air Force Base in Utah through July 23, 2018.
The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center is the contracting activity and the service branch will obligate $6.4 million in fiscal 2016, 2017 and 2018 research, development, test and evaluation funds.
