Avtex has joined Microsoft‘s Cloud Solutions Provider program to market and support hosted Azure services for public sector customers.
Microsoft’s Cloud Solutions Provider program for Azure Government offers an opportunity for member companies to help government clients address mission requirements with the cloud computing platform, Avtex said Monday.
Tom Keene, general manager for Microsoft Azure, said the CSP program allows partners to combine the cloud technology with service management, billing and customer support offerings in the government market.
Azure Government is designed to help customer agencies meet compliance and regulatory standards such as the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, Criminal Justice Information Services and International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
Avtex Chief Operating Officer Todd Johnson noted the company has used Azure as its technology platform for years.
