A joint venture of Qbase, Geocent and the Newberry Group has secured a contract for technology service desk support to Customs and Border Protection employees, contractors, trade partners and participating government agencies that access CBP software applications.
The contract was awarded to 360 IT Integrated Solutions through the Department of Homeland Security‘s Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading-Edge Solutions II vehicle, Qbase said Monday.
Steve Baldwin, Qbase CEO, said the company aims to support more than 65,000 users of CBP’s information technology infrastructure through the contract.
The Technology Service Desk effort will offer multi-tiered, round-the-clock services to IT projects and programs of the agency.
Qbase noted it will provide program management and 24×7 operational support services to CBP customers, importers, exporters and PGAs that use the agency’s Automated Commercial Environment and other software apps.
