The U.S. Army has awarded CACI International a three-year, $79 million task order to provide intelligence systems engineering support for the military branch’s intelligence and information warfare directorate.
CACI said Tuesday it will work to mature technologies in order to fulfill the Army’s intelligence and electronic warfare requirements in collaboration with academia.
Under the task order, the company and its academic partners will jointly develop new concepts and apply systems engineering and operational testing to transition new concepts into real-world platforms.
Ken Asbury, CACI president and CEO, said the company will continue to support the Army’s mission to protect the country against evolving threats.
I2WD serves as the Army’s research and development hub for cyber operations, electronic warfare, signals intelligence technologies, radar and intelligence analysis, exploitation and dissemination systems.
