Science Applications International Corp. has secured a potential four-year, $47 million task order contract to provide technical engineering and installation services for a future U.S. Air Force command and control facility in Nebraska.
SAIC said Tuesday the Navy‘s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific awarded the order under the service branch’s SeaPort-e professional services contract vehicle and work will take place over one base year with options to extend for an additional three years.
“Our cloud implementation services are currently deployed across the [Defense Department],” said Linda Messano, senior vice president and general manager of SAIC’s defense commands and agencies customer group.
Messano added the task order broadens SAIC’s support to SSC Pacific and expands the company’s technical systems delivery portfolio.
The company will support design, installation, configuration and transition work on information technology infrastructure for the facility and help develop a private data center infrastructure for staff located in the C2F.
