The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic has awarded Engility a potential two-year, $16 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide training and advisory services to the U.S. Marine Corps.
Engility said Friday it will work to support Marine training on new equipment and software for the service branch’s command-and-control systems.
CEO Lynn Dugle said the company will deliver a mix of live, virtual and simulation environments to help update the Marine Corps training program.
Engility will create a virtual 3-D immersive environment for media-rich classroom and mobile-based training in efforts to facilitate individual distance learning.
The company will also supply command post systems advisers who will work with information management officers at the Marine Expeditionary Force and supporting commands on the deployment and operation of the units’ command-and-control systems.
