CGI has secured a $39 million contract that extends the company’s enterprise resource planning system support services for Maine’s Office of the State Controller through 2026.
The company said Tuesday it will continue to provide managed services and platforms designed to secure cloud computing systems, update financial management tools and simplify case workflow for 139 agencies across the state.
CGI helped Maine implement the company’s Advantage Financial Management system in 1989 and launched a web-based platform in 2007 that works to integrate the state’s  finance, budget and procurement functions.
“Maine is one of many states that have partnered with CGI for ERP modernization, reflecting our long-term investment in ERP technologies over the last four decades,” said Daniel Keene, senior vice president of CGI’s Advantage program.
CGI added it seeks to help address the state’s current and future information technology requirements with the company’s s cloud-based ERP model.
