Telos Corporation has received a $26.9 million contract to modify and replace the cybersecurity systems of a U.S. Air Force demilitarized zone through networking equipment updates and security management services.
The company said Wednesday it will conduct contract work at Robins Air Force Base, Beale Air Force Base, Langley Air Force Base and Kansas in the U.S. as well as Ramstein Air Base in Germany through 2019.
Brendan Malloy, Telos senior vice president and general manager for cyber operations and defense, said the contract was awarded through a competitive acquisition process.
The contract covers updates to the demilitarized zone’s firewall, anti-virus software, web portal services and intrusion prevention and detection systems.
Telos currently supports the Network Centric Solutions-2 program that works to provide network operations, infrastructure and service-oriented architecture services to the Air Force and other Defense Department agencies.
