ProSol Associates has won a potential five-year, $23 million contract from the U.S. Navy to provide curriculum services for the U.S. Marine Corps‘ Communication Electronics School.
The Defense Department said Thursday the contract covers course instruction for approximately 57 information technology software programs, certification testing conducted by test administrators and curricula development and management.
Work will occur at Camp Pendleton, California as well as various locations in North Carolina, Japan and Virginia through June 2021.
The Marine Corps Systems Command obligated $2.9 million immediately after award of the contract from the service branch’s fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds.
The contract was awarded after a competitive procurement process through the FedBizOpps website with four bids received.
The Marine Corps Communication-Electronics School is built to train Marines in ground electronics maintenance, tactical communication and air control/anti-air warfare operations and maintenance.
