The Defense Information Systems Agency has awarded a Harris Corporation subsidiary a potential $41 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide electromagnetic spectrum services, applied engineering support and spectrum engineering services to the Defense Spectrum Organization.
Exelis will perform services within the contract — including the delivery of firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee and cost-reimbursable line items — in two locations within Maryland, the Defense Department said Thursday.
DoD added the contract has one base year and four one-year options.
The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization conducted the contract solicitation through FedBizOpps with three proposals received.
DOS works to provide spectrum operations services in areas such as electromagnetic battlespace planning, deconfliction and joint spectrum interference resolution in support of DoD’s electromagnetic spectrum requirements.
