Seattle, Washington-based business intelligence company Onvia has launched a new specification library where procurement professionals can view previous offers to assist the authoring process.
Barak Schriger, Onvia product marketing manager, said in a blog post published Monday the Onvia Exchange will provide access to previous procurement examples for same or similar products and services to purchasing parties.
Schriger noted participating agencies will provide contract awards along with bid tabulations on a quarterly basis to the community of users as part of the company’s goal to deliver a complete view into the market and help the decision-making process.
The report added contractors that use Onvia to pursue contract opportunities will bring more leads and access to more information for the public sector and help Onvia Exchange evolve to a system that will connect contractors and agencies with the intelligence required for procurement.
