An unnamed customer has placed an estimated $130 million order with Saab‘s airborne early warning and control division for the delivery of an AEW&C system.
The contract covers work for Saab’s surveillance and support services business areas, the defense and security company said Monday.
Deliveries will run from 2016 to 2018, Saab added.
Saab’s AEW&C system is designed to facilitate situational awareness in support of search and rescue, counterterrorism and border surveillance efforts.
