A European country has awarded Elbit Systems with multiple contracts with a collective amount of $40 million to supply advanced tactical communication systems over a one-year period.
The company will provide the country with a variety of communication systems, including the long-range/medium-range CNR9000HDR tactical IP radio, THF 8000 in vehicular and man pack configurations for over- the-horizon long-range communication and the mobile network PNR-1ooo soldier IP radio, Elbit Systems said Tuesday.
The technology company added that the communication systems works to allow voice, data and video communication regardless of scenario, as well as support situational awareness and interoperability between dismounted soldiers and combat vehicles.
Elbit Systems will also supply Digital Intercom System for VIC5000I-based vehicles.
