Battelle to Exhibit Anti-UAS Device at Navy League Event

Battelle will present one of its anti-unmanned aircraft systems devices and several other technology platforms at the Navy League’s Sea Air Space Show from May 16 to 18 in Maryland.

The nonprofit’s man-portable DroneDefender device works to disrupt small UAS devices through radio control frequency before the drones present a threat to military and civilian activities, Battelle said Tuesday.

Battelle also will exhibit Proteus, an unmanned and manned undersea vehicle the company developed with Huntington Ingalls Industries subsidiary Undersea Solutions Group.

The event will also feature Battelle’s HorizonVue M360 Video System that is built with cameras and a viewing software system designed to help undersea operators monitor operating environments.

Battelle will display the DroneDefender at booth number 1617 and Proteus at booth 2125.
