CACI International has partnered with the Ted and Karyn Hume Center for National Security and Technology at Virginia Tech to provide support for cybersecurity research on unmanned aerial vehicles.
The company said Tuesday the five-year partnership under the Hume center’s Cyber-Physical System Security program covers student mentorship, curriculum development and research projects.
“The threat of cyber attacks on platforms like unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as industrial control systems, vehicles and even weapon systems, grows more pressing every day,” said Ken Asbury, president and CEO of CACI.
He added that CACI aims to help Virginia Tech develop future leaders in the field of national security through participation in the CPSS program.
