Accenture used an Oracle-built cloud platform to consolidate data from disparate information technology systems into a single interface as part of Accenture’s three-month project for Hawaiian Telcom.
Accenture said Wednesday it deployed Oracle Service Cloud to integrate information from five IT systems that the telecommunications firm uses to store and process orders, cases, billing and client details.
“We are pleased with the increased efficiency that the unified view has afforded to our customer service representatives and field technicians,†said Kevin Paul, senior vice president of technology at Hawaiian Telcom.
“In today’s world, every business must be a digital business to increase competitive advantage in the marketplace,†said Terri Strauss, global managing director of Oracle business at Accenture.
Accenture will continue to use Oracle Service Cloud to evaluate and implement Hawaiian Telcom’s online self-service and call center functions under the project.
