An Avnet subsidiary will offer Catalogic Software’s storage and data management platforms to public sector agencies through a General Services Administration contract vehicle.
Avnet Government Solutions will use its GSA schedule to distribute Catalogic’s information technology products across state and local education and federal government clients, Avnet said Wednesday.
“IT organizations in federal agencies recognize that advanced data management is at the heart of their mission-critical IT functions, including disaster recovery, test and development, data protection, and analytics,” said Tom Grave, vice president of marketing at Catalogic Software.
Avnet Government Solutions is a public sector-focused subsidiary launched in 2014 that works to help systems integrators, value-added resellers and independent software vendors expand their footprint in the U.S. government IT market.
