The U.S. Navy has announced plans to award potential five-year basic ordering agreements to contractors that can provide support services for the Naval Air Systems Command’s Cyber Warfare Detachment.
The Navy said in a FedBizOpps notice posted Monday the BOAs will cover cyber workforce development, research and development, implementation of the Defense Department’s risk management framework and the Navy’s Cybersafe initiative and cyber risk assessment services.
The service branch will award BOAs to companies based on six industry pools, which include cyber workforce training, cyber penetration system development, risk assessment and architecture development.
NAVAIR CWD works to provide mission assurance support for naval aviation and weapons systems and related naval aircraft support platforms through cyber warfare capability development and evaluation.
