The U.S. Navy intends to purchase from Rockwell Collins‘ government systems business a set of radio receiver-transmitters and ancillary equipment under the ARC-210 family of communications products.
A presolicitation notice posted Oct. 21 on FedBizOpps indicated that Naval Air Systems Command plans to send a delivery order for 12 RT-1747D/ARC receiver-transmitter and 12 C-11898A/ARC control and radio set.
According to the notice, the equipment will support Space and Naval Warfare System Command operations.
The Navy identified Rockwell Collins as the sole source of the required items but will accept responses from interested parties that can provide information to support a decision toward a competitive procurement rather than a sole-source acquisition.
Responses are due Nov. 6.
