Telos and George Washington University have agreed to jointly build data analytics tools and algorithmic methods in an effort to help U.S. organizations to secure cyber and physical infrastructure assets.
The university also plans to open a data analytics research center at its science and technology campus in Northern Virginia under a five-year partnership agreement with Telos, the company said Monday.
Ali Eskandarian, dean of GW’s Virginia Science and Technology Campus, and Telos Chief Technology Officer Richard Robinson would help explore and test security threat, risk and enterprise impact assessment models at the center.
The company and the university seek to leverage high-performance computing platforms in their collaborative analytics research and development project.
Telos will also offer researchers access to the company’s cybersecurity, identity management and mobility platforms through the initiative.
